Do you work for a grantmaker that is interested in sharing their grants data using the 360Giving Data Standard for the first time? Or do you work for a 360Giving Publisher and want to find out what the process involves?
At this workshop, you’ll learn about publishing your data from our Helpdesk team, who will guide you through all the key stages – from planning your approach to preparing the data and publishing the information openly.
This session will cover:
- What information can be shared, and how to decide what to include in your data
- The data protection implications of publishing grants data
- How to prepare your data, and how different data systems can impact this process
- What it means to publish your data, explaining the hosting and open data licensing options
- The benefits of sharing your data using the 360Giving Data Standard
There will be plenty of time to ask questions about what publishing grants data will mean for your organisation.
Who is this session for?
This workshop is the ideal introductory session for UK funders who are not yet sharing their grants data, and want to understand more about the 360Giving publishing process. It will also provide a useful introduction for anyone taking over responsibility for the publishing process in their organisation.
